Palos Verdes real estate single family home sales in the first 19 days of April 2019 are 24 homes which is a decrease from the 38 Palos Verdes homes sold in the first 19 days of March and a decrease from first 19 days of April 2018 (39).  (It may take an additional week for some sales to post after the actual close of escrow).  The average sales price for single family Palos Verdes homes from April 1st to date is $1,905,410 which is an increase from last month’s average of $1,772,606 for this same time period and an increase from $1,737,6554 last April. In April 2019 to date, the highest priced Palos Verdes home sold for $4,300,000 and is located at Oceanfront Estates in the West Palos Verdes  neighborhood and has 6 bedrooms, 8 baths and 7,841 square feet on a 32,304 square foot lot.  ...

2018 Palos Verdes homes sales for Palos Verdes Drive South increased to 28 single family homes sold compared to 24 in 2017.  Price per square foot for Palos Verdes Drive South houses that sold in 2018 increased to $841 compared from $610 in 2017, a 37.8% increase.  Average sales price for Palos Verdes Drive South homes sold in 2018 was $2,290,554 compared to $1,882,542 in 2017.  The most expensive home sold for $6,399,999 and the lowest priced home sold for $1,050,000. Summary: The number of homes listed for sale on the Palos Verdes Peninsula of 179 homes is 18% higher than last year and the number of homes sold during the last three months is 21% lower compared to the prior year, resulting in unsold inventory of 5 months supply. Prices per square foot are up approx. 11% compared to the prior year's quarterly average. Lower priced homes are moving faster than the upper end of the market.
