I spent Memorial Day at Pinecrest Lake.  It is located about 25 miles east of Sonora.  As I was heading up Highway 108 it seems that all the weekend campers were heading down.  I passed about 50 campers.  The lake was quiet and we got a great picnic spot.  I saw a lot of locals there enjoying the sun, fishing and kayaking.  I think the campers want to pack up Monday morning and head home.  I= 05/29/2007
