A really nice surprise is happening now.  We are getting more and more buyers who are interested in seeing homes in Placentia.  I suspect that they have seen the better values and more square feet that one can get as opposed to other North Orange Countyareas.  Both newer and older homes are very available, good school districts, and ample proximity to shopping, etc.  The buyers are even asking for Placentia by name -- so the word must be getting out (Placentia is no longer a secret).  Single family homes are the top demand but the requests for condos are not trailing very far.  And Placentia has some very fine condo complexes to choose from.  We suspect that Placentia will rank very high in 2009 sales.  12/26/2008

It is really sad in this market to see good buyers lose out on the great deals in great neighborhoods.  We just sold a short sale house, put it in escrow today, and now another good buyer wants to buy it.  They had shown strong interest and visited it twice, and were probably bringing in a relative for a second opinion. But they just waited around and thought about it too long.  Somehow we have to get buyers to realize that the good ones still sell and fast.  I will try to find them another home, but they may always remember the one that got away -- How do we get them to understand this?  Any good iideas out ther? 12/16/2008
