OK, So Whats In A "TINY House" Anyway? Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Since I began posting about "TINY Houses" I've showed several photos of how they look from the outside with lots of nice elevations, 3 dimensional graphics, landscape etc. However, after receiving several inquiries from folks about what's in them and how they're laid out on the inside. So I thought I'd cut to the chase and show you a typical floor plan for an average 750 to 800sf "GRANNY FLAT". Here's a fairly generic plan (birds eye) of a 20x40 800sf "TINY HOUSE" It's amazing just how much usable and functional space one can net out of such a tiny footprint but here you can see first hand that living small can be very comfortable.
