I Love Snowmen and Here’s a Little History   Is the ‘Snowman’ a Christmas decoration or does it stand for something else? You start seeing snowmen decorations in late November or early December and are usually stuffed snow people to decorate the house or are Christmas tree decorations so that would make you think it is a holiday character.        But I beg to disagree. When do you start seeing snowmen outside?   Do you have Chips ……………..RFID Chips.   Last July 2012, I did an article about RIFD Chips in Credit Cards entitled “ALERT…Protect Your Credit Cards”. Here is some updated information.     An RFID is a tiny radio transmitter on a chip. Credit cards with an RFID chip transmit account information, like a name or account number, to a reader at a checkout counter. An RFID credit card is designed to be more convenient than swiping the card's magnetic strip through a reader; someone can easily wave his or her wallet over an RFID reader without even having to take the card out.   Merry Christmas... Do 26 Acts of Kindness to Honor Newtown, CT Victims       I first saw this on the NBC news yesterday and was so inspired to look it up. Ann Curry, a News Anchor came up with this campaign “26 Acts of Kindness” to remember the 20 children and 6 adult victims of Newtown CT.  by doing some acts of kindness. I think this was such a creative and inventive idea especially for this time of the year. Something as simple as holding a door or smiling at someone and I am sure it will be well received by the other person. Or if financially able, helping someone in the shopping line who is short on funds or buying someone a burger and coffee that needs a little help. test Easy to Make Christmas Frames ....Great for Gifts or to Hang on the Tree.       Make these cute frames out of cardboard and glue trim, popsicle sticks, twigs from the yard or just take a lid and decorate it.            Such a simple project for small kids to do but make sure to use Elmers or Tacky glue. Cut out a picture from a magazine, a Christmas card or a developed photo.               Buttons or woodens shapes from the craft store are nice to decorate it. Paint them or leave them unfinished. Use narrow ribbon to make a loop on the back or to add bows to the front.  Themed Christmas Trees to Enjoy     I love the holidays and like to take pictures of trees. Here is my Kitchen tree and is covered with ornaments in the shapes of cookies, cupcakes, lollipops, candy canes and I added some recipe cards with family recipes of cookies.                                           I think it is fun to collect themed ornaments and make that special tree to enjoy over the holiday.
