A Nice Surprise in my Yard Many of you know I am a bird lover and I hate to admit it but I have 4 regular bird feeders and 2 hummingbird feeders (1 in the winter). I just think it is my way of helping out the wildlife in my area especially during the cold months of fall and winter.   I recently went on a trip and after I came home, I was outside filling the bird feeders and much to my surprise a new plant was growing under one of the feeders. Oh my gosh, a sunflower plant must have popped up from the sunflower seeds that had fallen to the ground.   Approximately 2 weeks.   3 weeks old. 31/2 weeks.   Today is looks like it is fully opened! Goodbye to Larry Hagman……the Dallas Villain you Love to Hate (1913-2012) Larry Hagman, born in Fort Worth TX, 81 yrs old actor died yesterday of throat cancer. He was in a hospital in Dallas surrounded by friends and family celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. Co-Stars Patrick Duffy and Linda Grey were by his side too. He is survived by his wife Maj. Are you friendly when you pass others or do you just look straight ahead?   Try doing something nice for someone tomorrow. I have some suggestions for kindness this week:         1. Open the door for someone in a wheelchair or walker even if you have to wait a few seconds for them. 2. Voices Disapproval  By: Esther Cho The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced a third bidder scooped up properties in three states for the agency’s REO-to-rental initiative, leaving Atlanta as the sole metro in the program with no winning bidder. Colony Capital, LLC purchased 970 properties in Los Angeles and Riverside, California; Phoenix, Arizona; and Las Vegas, Nevada, the agency revealed Thursday. Colony Capital is a private real estate investment firm based in California. The agency’s REO initiative seeks to sell Fannie Mae foreclosures to institutional investors in hard-hit metros. Riverside CA Real Estate Activity There are a lot of buyers interested in buying a house at this time - and a lot of buyers who are frustrated because they are having a hard time finding listings and getting offers accepted.
