A homeowner who called us several weeks ago to ask about a short sale told us this week the bank took back his house. The sad part is, foreclosure probably could have been avoided. A representative from the bank told our friend, who was several months behind on his mortgage, it was too late to do a short sale and the bank would foreclose if he didn’t make a payment.
