It is really hard to pick my favorite Lake Arrowhead photo. Running Springs is 20 min up the hill from Highland, 25 min from Redlands, nice community with lots of part-time and full time homes/cabins. Arrowbear is next village 3 min away. Great views of forest in running springs, views of valley below, large oak and pine trees.  Small cabins, larger cabins, full time living homes, large horse property homes with acreage.  All are available in running springs. Visit My Photos - 17 PicsDaffodil Garden 2008 In Running Springs there is a wonderful area called Smiley Park. Smiley Park was hit hard by the recent So-Cal wildfires. I was taking pictures in the area a few weeks ago and this was one of the houses:   Today I was taking photos in the area again and visited the Daffodil Garden. I had heard the garden burned in the fire, but was hopeful that the flowers would bloom anyway. Much to my delight, the owner's home did not burn, the neighboring church did not burn and the Daffodils were spectacular! It was a wonderful day and a very special treat for me!
