  What's Behind That Stucco Damage?     Repairing stucco walls in the Sacramento area can vary in sevariety and difficulty. Obviously it will depend on the extent of the damages caused by the accident, but there is something else to consider. How was the original construction done? Not all stucco is done in the same fashion. We can see in the photo how this column was built. Not shown is the steel post that supports the carport in the picture. There is a concrete base that is raised above the parking lot surface. On top of this base is a pressure treated 2x4 that is secured to bolts imbedded in the concrete.      Do you think this sink drain has been repaired a few times? I’ve seen my share of leaking drain pipes as a contractor in Sacramento, this drain line was not leaking. I am grateful for that; I’d have to find a fourth type of drain to keep the trend of unmatched parts.    J
