San Dimas Market Watch - May 8-14, 2013 Okay, so the last statistics have proven to you that it is definitely a SELLERS MARKET. But the trend is continuing here in this week's San Dimas Market Watch.   Last week, there were a total of 4 new listings.  Less inventory means higher prices and makes it a sellers market in San Dimas.  When you compare this week's 4 to the 1 sold homes it doesn't give you much of a picture.  But when you add the numbers together shows, that this is definitely still a sellers market in San Dimas, CA.     What does this mean to you if you want to sell?  This means that your home will be sold in a short period of time and many times will sell for more than the asking price.  Naturally, this doesn't mean that you can price your home high and expect the same resul...

San Dimas Market Watch April 24-30, 2013 Okay, so Times, They Are A Changin'!  (Found Bob Dylan's Song Here!)This week in San Dimas things are begining to move and shake.  There were 12 new listings coming into the San Dimas market for sale.  It goes along with an article I read earlier on the Redfin blog about seller confidence booming.   Four homes had price changes this week in San Dimas.  I don't think we can blame this on the banks any longer.  In fact if I read it correctly now, this is probably due to the rising home values and people need to get that last dollar from their home.  This I completely understand having been on the selling side not too long ago.   When you compare the 12 new listings to the 4 sold and 5 pending, it is still a tad bit upside down.  However, when you a...

Seems like the STANDARD SALES are holding their own once again! Summer Reading Programs in San Dimas CA Okay, so when I was a little girl I loved summertime as I'm sure most of you did too.  But I really loved the summer reading programs at the library.  My mom would sometimes drop me off and let me stay for a couple of hours and I would check out books and listen to records (ya, we had records back then) of The Osmonds, The Jacksons and so on.  (And my son says my first boyfriend was a dinosaur.) The library in San Dimas has wonderful programs planned for the summer.   1.The kickoff will be June 16th with two magicians, some crazy puppets and various workshops for the kids.  (SIGNUPS ARE REQUIRED for the workshops.)   2. San Dimas Summer Concert Series 2012 and Farmer's Market Okay, so once more I am writing about one of my local city's Summer Concert Series.  The City of San Dimas is gearing up for just this very thing. San Dimas Folks Simply Get Involved Okay, so I love the title of this blog because it's so true.  San Dimas as a community is very involved in many activities from the Western Days Rodeo to the Veteran's Memorial to the Farmer's Market, there is something to do here for everyone! Fritz Coleman to Headline San Dimas Heroes Fundraiser Weatherman Fritz Coleman will be hosting a fundraiser to help the San Dimas Heroes group raise more funds for the San Dimas Heroes Veteran's Memorial which is located about 1/2 a mile from my office!   The event will be held on March 10th at the San Dimas Community Building named after Stanley Plummer.  A social hour will start at 6PM followed at 7PM by the show.
