Many of us have our own version of the American Dream.  To some it's financial, to others it's career and still others it's simply success.  To me Homeowner-ship is the true American Dream.I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan at a time when this city was the envy of the world.  There was no luckier person in the world than me and being raise in a family in which home-ownership was our only option it was assured that I would be a homeowner as soon as financially feasible.  I tried buying my first home shortly after getting out of the Army but that one fell through.  Shortly after getting married I was able to complete this lifelong dream.  Home-ownership full-fills me as inviting people to break bread in a home that is my own feels incredible.  I wouldn't care if my home was a tent... 06/24/2019

There are many among us still suffering from the affects of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.  We honor those that gave their lives, limbs, mental health and are still enduring the remnants of the war today.I was fortunate to be a relatively new Realtor in Santa Clarita, California in 1996 and had the good fortune to meet a couple selling their home.  The gentleman was walking through the home with an oxygen tank and apologized for his appearance.  He went on to explain that he was in the Vietnam War and had damaged his lungs from Agent Orange.  I listened intently and compassionately.  His wife was in the background listening and observing.  I explained that the war was no stranger to me as I also was in the Army during this horrendous war.About four months after our meeting there w... 02/20/2019

Interest rates have risen by nearly 1% as the Dow Jones Industrial Average has risen by as much as 3,800 points.
