The other day, I posted What is a HomePath Property and How Can I Buy One? - FAQ #11.  Basically, I blogged about the pros and cons of Fannie Mae's HomePath properties and loan program.  Now, anyone who has read my blog, knows that I am not a big fan of this program or most of the run-down, dilapidated, dumpy properties that fall under this program.  My professional experience with these properties are that many of them are in worse shape than most of the other REO's on the market.  Furthermore, I'm not convinced that the advantages of this program outweight the disadvantages of the program.  However, after discussing this program with some of my associates, I decided that I would try to present a little different scenario where this program and these properties may actually help some ... 04/20/2011
