Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Fannette Island is the only island in Lake Tahoe and is located in the bay on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Fannette Island is a granite island, sparcely vegetated and home to the "Tea House". The Tea House is a miniature castle where the owners of Vikingsholm would invite their guests to board a motorboat and take them over to have tea in this rustic castle.
