South Pasadena CA Single Family Homes Under $1,000,000 - Market Update This is a market update for single family homes under $1,000,000 in the city of South Pasadena for 2012 with comparison to 2011 as well as current market activity.     There were 90 sales of single family homes(priced/sold under $1,000,000) in 2012.   They ranged in sales price from $300,000 to $991,000 with an average sales price of $751,956(median $773,292).    At the under $1,000,000 sales number, the average price per square foot in 2012 was $467.71.This compares to 78 sales of single family homes(again priced/sold under $1,000,000) in the January through December time period in 2011.   The closed prices ranged from $360,000 to $995,000.   The average sales price was $718,438 and the median sales price was $735,0...

South Pasadena CA - Celebrating New Year’s Day at The Rose Parade The Rose Parade in Pasadena will be held tomorrow, January 1, 2013 and South Pasadena will have its float in the parade line-up.  The parade theme is "Oh, The Places You'll Go". While there is plenty of attention for the some of the grander and more elaborate floats, don’t dismiss the features and the end result that you will find from South Pasadena. This all-volunteer effort will be honored for its use of all California flowers from San Diego to the Oregon border. The fifty foot float is a Spanish galleon in the shape of an open book, hence the theme "Sailing the Sea of Knowledge". This is just one of seven self-built floats in the parade.
