Borrego Springs, California Real Estate is Hot! Borrego Springs was one of the area in the region to gain the most ground in single-family resales from 2010 to 2011 rising from 70 to 102 or almost 46 percent. On the flip side median price for a single-family home in Borrego Springs fell nearly 21 percent to $128,000. The price-sales dynamic may be explained by the fact that the area is a favorite among cash buyers and investors. Another hot spot in single-family resales was east Vista, California -where sales increased from 311 in 2010 to 370 in 2011. That's a 19 percent jump. Local Disc Golf Course Gets Approved In Vista, California. 18 hole course at Brengle Terrace Park to be installed by San Diego Disc golf club. Brengle Terrace Park received approval from the Vista City Council on a vote of 4-1 last Tuesday. Ryan Meyer, president of the San Diego Aces, said in October that the group would pay the $15,000 to $20,000 to install the course and perform maintenance on it once it's in the ground. The elevation changes in the park makes it perfect for the sport. It's kind of hilly and most of the area isn't being used right now by the park users. It is perfect for the disc golf. Vista, California-Disc Golf  Course Coming To Brengle Terrace Park? Brengle Terrace is a good location for a dis golf course because the landscape is hilly and doesn't allow the public to use a lot of the land for picnics and other activities. There's a lackluster use in a lot of the open space. A regional disc golf club wants to install an 18-hole course at Brengle Terrace Park. This idea was pitched to the Vista Parks and Recreation Commission last week, along with the pitched idea the group that wished to sponsor this will pony up $15,0000 to $20,0000 to install and to maintain. RBV turns 25! Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, CA will celebrate its 25th birthday this week. The event will be marked with an open house on October 27th from 4 - 8 pm. The birthday celebration will feature food, games, and fund-raising by school groups. Items from a time capsule assembled in 1987 will be display.  The following day, Rancho Buena Vista will host El Camino for the school's homecoming football game.  The impressive football stadium was completed in 2003.
