I have had more years than I would like to admit of retail managment experience and I understand the $9.99 mentality in retail, however I do not understand this mentality when listing a home for sale. Every day I see listings that are priced at $199,999.00 or $399,999.00 etc. WHY!!! Does it really appear to be less expensive, or is this exactly the price you expect to get on the house and hope that a buyer is looking to save a dollar? Heres my two cents, which might bump the price up to where it should be. We are marketing our properties to get the most potential buyers for that home, are we not? Wow I finally reached the century mark (100,000)! I have been work hard on my active Rain account for about Five months more or less!   This is a no brainer, I would much rather be going to a listing appointment this afternoon than having a root canal, unfortunately I need to the have the root canal prior to any more appointments or the clients will not be getting my full attention.  I have been blessed with a wonderful dentist, in fact I travel 30-45 minutes through Denver to see him, the office atmosphere is fantastic, every one is joking around and laughing, the clients are all having a good time. It is too bad that more office environments are not like this. My teenage sons even look forward to their visits. Unbelievable- I just got off the phone with our pharmacy, my son was diagnosed with Crohn's a couple years ago and his new medication will cost $804.38 per month, this is highway robbery, how is he ever supposed to get ahead. When I spoke with the pharmacist he sort of laughed and said "that is a car payment every month". I said you must drive a very nice car because that is a house payment every month for a lot of people   Just yesterday I saw a blog posted by Lizette about ways to save money every month, I need to figure out how to save $804.38 just to break even. You don't have to pay for your credit scores report anymore!  If you find out what are your credit scores, you can do it for free!  If you want credit score monitoring, you can using a service like www.creditkarma.com/  they give you a better than "home-scale" version of your credit score for free. It's a Trans Union credit score based on their formula, not FICO, but it's good enough.
