October Home Sales in Cherry Hills Village Cherry Hills Village home sales picked up in October, after a dip in September sales. Four of the houses sold for over one million dollars. One of the sold houses was a bank owned property and it sold for 64.4% of the original listing price. The total number of homes on the market is dropping, which is typical. During the winter months, which many consider the slow season, many sellers decide pull their homes of the market and maybe re-list in the spring.  2009 Cherry Hills home sales are about 65% of what they were in 2008. Cherry Hills Village Market Report Aug 09 Cherry Hills Village home sales picked up in August, almost doubling July sales. I said this the last two months, but I'll say it again - last time I promise :). One house in June sold for 43% of the original asking price. 43%! That is the lowest since Jan 2006 (that's how far back we are tracking). This year NINE houses have sold for less than 70% of the original price. Three of those were bank owned homes. In 2008, in all of 2008 the number was FIVE or 6% of all houses sold.
