  Dog Gone!  Commerce City Greyhound Park Being Demolished   I love it when a developer gets the community involved!   Commerce City will be demolishing the former Greyhound Park race track on Saturday.  The have invited the public to attend.    Prior to the actual demolition, the have invited the community to a free event which will allow folks to have one last look at the park and learn what the future has planned for the 56 acre park.   Greyhounds raced at the track from 1949 through 2008.  Commerce City’s Urban Renewal Authority bought the 65 acre site with plans to redevelop.   The event starts at 10:30 am tomorrow at Greyhound Park, 6200 Dahlia Street, Commerce City, Colorado.   This will be a great chance for an outstanding photo opportunity!
