Hello from Crested ButteCompared to last year, the first quarter of the 2011 Crested Butte real estate market has seen a serious spike in the number of sales. Year-to-date, we've realized 56 home and condo sales. Last year at this time we saw only 39 sales. Most of the recent action is up in Mt. Crested Butte where the high inventory of condos has driven prices down. Average sold prices per square foot hovered around $215 in Mt. Crested Butte and saavy buyers responded, picking up 29 ski condos and another 5 single family homes.
