To the Lender, the buyer, the seller...? I certainly understand establishing the value of a property to avoid abusive borrowing practices, or inflated pricing, or any number of other reasons - for the good of the parties?  As REALTORS, many of us spend alot of time assisting our clients in establishing the value of a seller's home for marketing purposes?  We understand that the true value of a property is what a buyer is willing to pay for it. Some of us even go a bit further - beyond comparing the CMA, we take a look at the current properties for sale to see were the property we are marketing fits in.  (Buyers can't see the sold properties, but make their decisions based on what they see - I believe our sellers should see the same comps and make their price decisions based on all of ht...

I am just amazed at the nerve of some people.  In the worst (but changing) real estate market in years, I can't believe that people are still breaking into our inventory homes and stealing...Over and over again, I just don't get it.  The police can't help, deductibles on insurance are too high so it is left to us the builder to fix, replace, and repair. We quit putting TV's in our model homes years ago (after they were all stolen) But now people are after, windows, cabinets, a/c units, a/c line sets, and hot water heaters (god bless copper)  Last nights occurrence in an established neighborhood, with neighbors on all sides, our microwave was stolen, what can a stolen microwave be worth?  Damage was caused, the model now looks bad, the oven was on the list too but is was just moved not t...

I saw this and it made me realize we have easily forgotten who is fighting for our rights. Whether you agree with the war or not. You would agree that these are the people who let our freedom stand or are completely volunteered. I have to say I have respect for those who want to protect our freedom. I will keep all those in the military in my prayers.

So I am trying to come up with ideas for bringing in more traffic into my location. I wanted to ask all the Realtors ou there, what would benefit you guys to viewing a new home? What would bring you in? Are you afraid of losing clients to the sales of new homes? I utimately believe it is up to the sales of Real Estate and Realtors best intrest to work together and put a jumpstart in homes again. I thought it would be neat for all of us to brainstorm and come up with some ways. Le't band together instead of "every man for themselves" kind of thing. Just a thought..What do you think?
