This is the Greeley CO Real Estate Market Report for March 2014 Home sales in Greeley rose 6% in February 2014 to 88 homes sold from 83 homes in January 2014, and up 15.8% from 76 homes sold in February 2013. These are nice increases, a better start than the previous three years, and a sign that the busier spring market has begun. Home prices increased in January 2014. The Median Price of sold homes increased to $189K, up 7.4% from $176K in January 2014, and the Average Price rose to $206K, a rise of 6.7% from $193K in January. Prices continue to trend upward, and even though this monthly data reflects only those homes sold in February, it would be expected that home values are also on the way up. Greeley CO Real Estate Market Report - February 2014 Home sales in Greeley dropped 44.6% in January 2014 to 83 homes from 120 homes sold in December 2013, but up 7.8% from 77 homes sold in January 2013. This was most likely an expected result of seasonal effects, and at least show an improvement over the same month last year. Home prices rose in January 2014. The Median Price of sold homes increased to $176K, up 8.6% from $162K in December 2013. The Average Price climbed to $193K, a rise of 9% from $177K in December. These numbers relate to those specific homes that sold in January, but they are notable for showing a continued trend of price improvement for the market, an encouraging sign. This was a strong result for a traditionally slower time of the year, and a bit unexpected.
