This is the May 2015 Real Estate Market Trends Report for Loveland CO Surprisingly, home sales declined in April 2015, with 164 homes sold, down 3.6% from 170 sold in March 2015, but matched the 164 sales in April 2014. We were expecting to see sales rise as is typical for the busier spring season.  Prices, on the other hand, did rise strongly in April 2015. Median price increased 6.6%, to $321K from $301K in March 2015, while average price rose 5.0% to $351K from $334K in March. Both median and average price are also up from April 2014, and the three-year trend line, as can be seen in the graph at right, continues its steady rise. Inventory did not display its usual seasonal increase. This is the April 2015 Real Estate Market Trends Report For Loveland CO Home sales increased strongly in March, with 170 homes sold, up 42.9% from 119 sold in February 2015, and up 28.8% from 132 sales in March 2014. That represents a very nice start to the busier spring and summer season, and buyer demand is expected to remain high. Interestingly, prices dropped slightly in March, reminding us that these numbers are representative of those specific homes that sold during the month, and as single data points, do not reflect changes in value by themselves. This is the March 2015 Real Estate Market Trends Report for Loveland CO     Home sales in February 2015 were 119, an increase of 14.4% from 104 sales in January 2015, and an increase of 15.5% from 103 sales in February 2014. While these gains are modest, they are encouraging to see at this normally slower time of the year.     The trend line for Loveland home prices continues to move steadily upward.
