What is the Difference Between a Townhome and a Condominium in Steamboat Springs, Colorado? If you are thinking of buying a home in Steamboat Springs, you may be wondering what your style choices are. You can purchase a Single Family home, a Townhome, or a Condominium.  A single family home is obvious; you own the land and building and maintenance is your responsibility. But in a townhome or condo, it's not that easy. Not everyone knows the differences between a townhome and a condominium. Sometimes the assessor’s office doesn't even know…. A Townhome is typically, but not always, a home built in a row where you share a common wall. Usually, townhomes are multi-story and there are no units above or below your unit. A Great Bar in Steamboat Springs, Colorado - Hazie's Sometimes the best bars are in unexpected places. Hazie’s at the top of the Gondola is a perfect example. It’s just a great, fun and slightly elegant restaurant and bar. Brian, the bartender, has been tending bar there for the past 8 years and has it all figured out. He does a great job of getting to know the patrons and he definitely makes everyone feel like a local.  Brian the Bartender Hazie’s, is a sit-down restaurant offering offering lunch daily and dinner Thursday-Sunday and Holidays, at the top of the Thunderhead Gondola. Their number is 970-871-5151. They offer gluten free items as well. But, what I really like is the bar. Now, that didn't quite come out the way I wanted it to… The bar has intimate traditional seating at the ...

Yes, the majority of my competition is much younger than I am. But my competitive spirit and drive just comes out of me when I race. Charlie telemark racing I started alpine racing many years ago and was a member of the US Telemark Ski Team for the last 4 + years. I still continue on with this passion into my old age of 49! Not bad for a very physically demanding sport. In March, I will be going to Spain to compete in t...

Flash Mob USA to replaces Ski Town USA in Steamboat Springs.  I love flash mobs. When done well it's pretty special. Now Steamboat Springs is a small town so when a flash mob was in the works, I had high hopes but lesser expectations. But Steamboat Springs delivered. During the Winter Carnival, featuring a parade down main street in the snow, street events like skijoring, fireworks and so much more, this year we saw some flash mobs.  This yearly event is so great and it's one of the reason I live in Steamboat.  Regards, Charlie

The number of Steamboat Springs homes for sale continues to shrink making it harder for buyers to find their perfect dream home.   When inventory falls, buyers have to 1) compromise on what they want–whether it’s the location, features, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, etc. 2) pay more than they expect to get what they want or 3) build. If you are considering purchasing property in Steamboat Springs, call us at 970-819-6372 to discuss your options.  We work with lots of buyers and sellers from around the world and take the time to listen.
