The MOMS Club of Marlborough will be  having a "Fries Fundrasier" to raise money for the play-scape at the East Hampton McDonald's, 11 East High St, East Hampton, CT, on Saturday, April 12, from lunchtime until closing. A percentage of sales from every French fry order sold that day will go towards the upcoming Blish Play-scape renovation.  This includes all fries sold within value meals, Happy Meals and individual orders.

Marlborough CT Firefighters Fill the Boot For Muscular DystrophyThe Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), in conjunction with the Marlborough Volunteer Fire Department, will conducting its annual Fill-the-Boot event Saturday, Aug. 25, to benefit research and local services for the Northern Connecticut chapter of the MDA.  The collection will take place in downtown Marlborough on Route 66, at the intersection of North Main and South Main streets. from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.Last year, the Marlborough VFD raised $4,669 for MDA. Marlborough Antiques Appraisal DayThe Marlborough Arts Center will host an Antiques Appraisal Day on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 10a.m.-2 p.m. at the Marlborough Senior Center, 17 School Dr.Arthur Liverant of Nathan Liverant and Sons.
