  September 11, 2001 We Will Not Forget!  9/11 will Always Be In Our Hearts, and each of us has our own special reason why that day will always be a day we will never forget.  Today is a day of not only remembering the vicious attack on our country eightteen years ago, but also a day to honor those who lost there lives.  It is also a day for us to reflect on the memories, and thoughts which went through our mines as the events of September 11, 2001 unfolded.  The Coleman Brother's 2019 Carnival Is In Middletown, CT April 5 - 13. Veteran's Day 2018 Today is Veteran's Day 2018, A Day To Honor Our Veterans, and our Men and Women who are serving in our Armed Forces.I hope that everyone takes a moment out of there day to say thank you to either a Veteran they know, or one of the Men and Women presently serving.  It only takes a minute to do this, but the impact and meaning it has on the one you say thank you to is greater than you can imagine.  Labor Day this year is bright, sunny, and hot, which means a great day for all the Labor Day plans that have been made.  For me the only thing I have planned for today is to just get some much needed extra sleep and rest. Normally we plan on having the family over and putting some food on the grill.  But we decided to do that yesterday, and have some good friends over to enjoy it with us as well.  We put some rib-eye steaks on the grill, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.  We had a great time and lots of laughs, so it was a perfect day.I hope that each and everyone of you spend this Labor Day doing what you enjoy, you have earned it.  Whatever you do make sure this is a safe and happy Holiday for you and your family!!!   09/03/2018

 The American Red Cross Is In Need Of Blood Donations once again, and the church I attend, Ward Street Church of Christ Blood Drive On Wednesday, September 5th., is an excellent opportunity to help alleviate the present shortage.  This blood drive has a special meaning to our church because it is being held in honor of one of our long time members who past away earlier this year.  During his illness Bob required several blood transfusions, and numerous pints of blood.  This is our church and family's way of saying thank you for the blood that Bob received, and a way to give someone else in need of blood the opportunity to receive it.  If you are not near the Ward Street Church of Christ in Wallingford, CT on Wednesday, September 5th., but want to help by donating blood, you can follow t... 08/30/2018

 One of the things I will miss as Summer Is Coming To An End is being able to buy fresh produce on my daily walks.  There is just something extra special about hand picking my own fresh veggies off a local Farm Stand like the one in the pictures.  For now I will enjoy them for as long as I can.   08/20/2018
