We are into mid October and the days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dipping. We have had our first frost and it won't be long until we start the dreary days of winter. As I walked the fairways this morning, however, there were many distractions with the change of colors on the trees virtually overnight. Even at my area which is only 10 miles away the changes are not as dramatic as we have at the golf course. Enjoy the few shots I was able to capture and still keep up with my group. While we had a very dry summer and many thought the colors would be drab, that s not the case. Some late September rains may have given us the brilliance we are experiencing.
