FINE ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL IN WOODSTOCK, CT.  This weekend is the 28th annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival at Roseland Cottage in Woodstock, CT.  The festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 16 and 17, from 10:00 to 4:30, rain or shine.  One of the leading juried shows in New England, the Fine Arts and Crafts Festival includes over 175 artists, as well as live music and food booths.  Admission is $5 per person and children under 12 are free.  The festival offers a full day of fun, including free admission to the 1846 Roseland Cottage.  For more information, call 860-372-4074. CTHomeLocator.com: Condos Needing FHA Approval! Whos Job Is It? I Currently Have This Great Woodstock Condo Under Contract! I didn't think it was going to happen because the Association is NOT on FHA's List. Luckily I have a great Loan Officer working on getting a spot approval done so we can move forward. My Question Is: In general, who's job is it? Shouldn't Condo Associations be aware of the importance of being on The List? As Listing Agents is it our job to assist in the process of getting our listings on The List to give us a better chance of a sale? With whom should this responsibility fall and IF the correct person just doesn't get it what do we do? As someone that graduated from Killingly High School in Danielson, CT, I've always loved the Woodstock Fair.  If you're looking for something fun to do this Labor Day weekend, the fair will be going on starting Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th.  General admission is $12 and reduced to $8 for seniors, kids under 10 get in for free.  There is a $5 fee for parking.  Gates open at 9AM and close at 11PM.  There is much to do for everyone at the Woodstock Fair.  Whether you're into entertainment, baking contests, pulling contests or rides, this is the place to be during Labor Day weekend.  There is nothing like eating some cotton candy under the stars with the fair lights shining bright.  I think I'll have to see if grandma can borrow the kids for a few hours so James and I... 08/31/2009

Ever been flocked?  No?  Don't know what you're missing...Yesterday was my first time...  No, my first time was not gentle...I was not eased into the idea of getting flocked...  My first time was an all-out, wham-bam, in your face flocking...  And, well, I must admit it put a smile on my face...it's still there... ;o)Who knew that getting flocked could be so much fun?  I now realize how naïve I was...  A delicate flocking virgin, if you will...Now that I know what I was missing, I believe that everyone should get flocked...at least once...I imagine that flocking can be done in a number of ways.  There may even be books available on the subject...who knows?  But, the fact is...if you're not flocking...others are being affected by it...not just you!If no one is flocking in your neighborho... 11/28/2007
