My home is in a neighborhood that is surrounded on three sides by a national park, and this time of the year, it looks like it's on fire. The park is set along Rock Creek, which runs from Georgetown to Gaithersburg, Maryland. There are riding trails for bicycles and horses, tennis courts and lots of wildlife, including deer, foxes and at least one coyote. And the wildlife they won't let run wild is living comfortably at the National ZooBut my favorite thing is stopping on my way home from showing property and just looking at and listening to the creek, and today the place looked like it was on fire.
