As you can see from the chart above (click to view larger) there is a large discrepancy between the price of homes for sale and the price of homes selling in Coral Gables.  The average price of homes on the market right now is $2,345,000 and the average price of homes sold in the beginning of 2010 was $740,000.   This shows that there is a large gap between what sellers are asking and buyers are willing to pay in Coral Gables.  (Keep in mind that there are some exceptionally high priced waterfront homes that are pulling up the average list price). Edgewater Drive is located at the mouth of the Coral Gables Waterway.  As far as real estate goes, there is something for everyone on this street.  You can find inexpensive non-waterfront condos on the north side of Edgwater and $16,000,000 penthouses on the south side. Coral Gables Foreclosure | 4114 San Amaro Drive | Sale Price: $601,000 In 2009 there were 53 single family foreclosure homes that sold in Coral Gables.  Of these homes, the average selling price was $368,882 with an average sales price per square foot of $170.00.  To put these numbers into perspective, the average sales price of a non-distressed home in Coral Gables (2009) was $987,687 at an average sales price per square foot of $284.00.
