Our Marketing director has been bugging all agents to start blogging since back in June 2008.   Unfortunately I have a very thick head and a very small brain so it took til November for it to sink in. But it finally did...and now I’m hooked.            The agents in the office are asking me everyday have I gotten any leads?  My response is not yet but it’s only a matter of time. I sell Real Estate in South West Florida, and most of the agents 4 years ago were making bank! And I mean Bank!  If you could breath you could sell Real Estate in Florida and make a ton of money.  No effort was needed because buyers had to buy (mostly because their neighbor bought down here so they had to follow) and sellers were happy to sell because they couldn’t believe someone would pay that much... 11/29/2008

  It started with the red carpet show that had performances from American Idol winner David Cook . The host was none other than Jimmy Kimmel the late-night talk show host/comedian.  From there 19 performances, which is the most ever, took place like Beyonce, Jonas brothers, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Cold Play, PussyCat Dolls, Rihanna , Taylor Swift, New Kids on The Block  and Kanye west. The award of Merit was presented by Justin Timberlake  to Annie Lennox.  Chris Brown won 3 awards including Artist of the year. The step to loading up the iPod use to be buy cd download onto ITunes and off you go jamming out.  If going to Target is out of the question head to the ITunes store online and download.  Now I have began to try to become more frugal.   I have discovered a great way to load up my iPod while saving a ton of money.  I headed to my county library my tax dollars help support.  There, I discovered that the library has every audio book I ever wanted.  I love to listen to Chopra, Dyer, and another guru that inspires me to be the best person I can be but buying them was out of the question.  So I headed to the library, low and behold they had everything I was looking for.   They also have movies that I no longer need to go to Blockbuster to get.  As long as I can patiently wait for them to com... 11/19/2008

           His name is Jimmie Johnson.  This is the third year in a row which in NASCAR’s 60 year history has only happened once.  Last night just down the Road from Estero FL, over in Homestead, the race was won by Carl Edwards, who ended his remarkable season 69 points behind Johnson.  Edwards’ all out effort included his stretch of the tank of gas so he could maintain the lead and crossed the line on an empty tank.         Johnson is on the elite racing legends list and is alone with Cale Yarbrough as the only 2 drivers to ever win 3 championships in a row.  The case has been made that Johnson is so impressive because of all the competition in NASCAR at the present time.          The teammates of Johnson at Hendrick Motorsports , Jeff Gordon, finishing seventh in the chase standings ... 11/17/2008

            I was getting some treats for my Open House this weekend and stopped into Costco  located at Gulf Coast Town center.  I love to buy 70 bags of potato chips.I have an American Express card from Costco  which allows for great savings over a year.  For example I get 5% back for every gas purchase (finally down to the 2’s for a gallon of gas).  Gas is a premium since I’m ECO friendly and drive an SUV.I also get 3% back on all purchases at Costco. 2% on all dining and 1% on all other purchases.
