But, earlier this week, my hometown baseball team, the Chicago Cubs finally clinched the World Series after a 108 year drought!! Growing up near the Wrigley Field stadium so many years ago, springtime for Chicago meant baseball and the Cubs.  As I write this, the city is celebrating the glory the team has brought it and euphoria reigns. Miami and Miami Beach may be the center of the tourist universe, but I would not discount the beauty and liveliness of Ft. Lauderdale either.  Vacationers often touch down at the Ft. Lauderdale airport and make a beeline for I-95 South when some of the best tourist destinations are right under their noses.  Aside from the fact that Ft. The Federal Reserve has been holding steady on interest rates and announced they are reducing the number of planned hikes from 4 to 2 this year. June was expected to be the first month for an increase this year, but experts aren't so sure.In addition, any hikes are likely to slightly climb up with estimates placing the numbers at just a 0.9 percent funds rate in 2016.This move tells a tale of caution, which makes sense given the past decade.
