Located in Broward County in Florida in the United States of America, Fort Lauderdale, known as the Venice of America, is a metropolitan city that happens to be the most important city in the South Florida Metropolitan area. Fort Lauderdale is especially famous as a tourist destination and entertains more than 10 million tourists annually . It has been given the tag of a metropolitan city mainly because of the diversity in culture. The city derived its name from a series of forts built by the US during the Second Seminole War. The forts, in turn, had taken their names from Major William Lauderdale, the commander of the troop of soldiers who built the first fort. Situated at 26°08'09"N, 80°08'31"W, the city has an area of about 36 square miles. It has a long stretch of beaches as it lie...

Sole' Condominium Downtown Fort LauderdaleSole' has brought a great selection of fashionable One, Two and Three Bedroom upscale condominiums models (eleven floorplans in all, including some that are Handicapped Accessible) to an up-and-coming downtown neighborhood.   The North East Third Avenue location is a quick walk to the business center of downtown Fort Lauderdale, furthering our move toward becoming a vibrant city with a truly urban living environment.  This is an appealing low rise, low density building well suited to the area, distinctively 'big city' in appearance, and an attractive alternative to the Mediterranean and Post-Modern styles that prevail in most New Construction.   Originally a rental, this property has converted to condominium ownership and provides some very affo...

Hello Everyone,I would like to encourage my fellow Realtors, Sales Associates, and assistants to stop thinking negatively about the current market and start to communicate a positive response to customers. The only way (I feel) to get the current conditions to change is by our attitude towards the existing conditions. Forget the media, what do they really know, they are possibly the reason the market is where it is now.  If WE TAKE CHARGE (as we should always be doing with our customers) then WE WILL CONTROL the SITUATION. The vast few of us that work at Real Estate as a full time passion realize that we are still listing and selling homes. We don't give up we find a way to continuously make things work.  Negative does not exist in my vocabulary, my cup is always half full and it will a...

I don't know about you but I am coming across an increasing number of homeowners who believe that by filing a Chapter 13 or Chapter 7 Bankruptcy will stop their foreclosure!  I have spoken to many homeowners who have wasted thousands of dollars that they don't have on filing for bankruptcy in the hope that their foreclosure will go away.  It baffles me when I ask a homeowner if they are filing simply as a stall tactic... for most only for 30-60 days and that if they miss a payment do they realise that the bank will file for relief from stay?   When I ask these questions I get a response that is of horror that their foreclosure won't be stopped or cancelled if they file and default or the bankruptcy is dismissed...  is the bankruptcy attorney not telling them something or they just don't...

Well if you're like me, you're always on the quest for the next "it" spots to hang out and de-stress after a long work week....well on Las Olas Boulevard in Downtown Fort Lauderdale there's lot's to do. If you're in to Jazz music, then Timpano's on Las Olas is a great Friday night spot to take in a soulful songstress or sax player.  8:00 pm to 12:00 am if you can get a seat by the bar near the piano front and center. Or you can enjoy their food....they have a great martini bar and exquisite food.....it's an Italian Chophouse... And if you don't need to take in dinner and would prefer the bar atmosphere, check out O'Hara's Jazz & Blues Café', they also have various performing bands......Catch them almost any night, but Sunday afternoons are a real treat! Want a nice dinner, well a few st...

My name is Ray Berry and I have literally been learning about the Real Estate industry since I was 13.  I am 21 now and a succesful mortgage broker and insurance agent. I work for Innovative Property Services Mortgage in South Florida and Charter Benefit Group a licensed mortgage lender which my father owns and an insurance agency with customer service as their number one key to rapid growth.  My father started teaching me about the industry when I was in Seventh grade. It was the first day of summer after Seventh grade and I thought I would be doing what normal 13 year old boys do.  I was wrong.  I was fortunate enough to have a father who would wake up at 6AM and be at his office by   7AM everyday.  He sat me with his telemarketers on predictive dialers all day until 7:30pm.  I ha...
