Why Perform Air Quality Testing? Mold Inspections Gainesville Florida. What often happens is that you will notice that when you are outside, you breathe just fine, but when you get inside you will begin to have nasal irritation, sneezing, and sometimes it progresses to include headaches and nausea. These are indications that you should have an indoor air quality test performed in your building. Once you have this testing done, you will have a better idea of what may be making you have these symptoms. You can then move on to figuring out the best way to handle improving the indoor air quality. Common Causes of Mold Here are some of the common causes of mold: (Gainesville, and Ocala, FL) Humidity: If you live in a humid climate, the possibility of mold is very high as this fungus thrives in humid places. In places like Gainesville, The Villages and Ocala, Florida, where it rains constantly, the humidity is naturally high, which is why you may need a mold assessment. Leaking Pipes or Roof: More often than not, it’s a water leak within the structure of the house resulting in mold formation. A leaking pipe is the most common reason for mold behind drywall and under the sink. Also, if the roof is damaged and leaks water, it can also cause mold on the roof and even the floor. Winter Condensation: In winters, a condensation layer can form on surfaces because of fluctuation in temper...

Why a Commercial Mold Inspection needed? Most lawsuits allege that mold problems could have been avoided, so commercial real estate owners need to show due diligence by investigating any suspected mold problem. We can document your due diligence in investigating mold issues and determine whether they exist at all. We also can provide expert witness testimony. Toxic molds, commonly referred to as black mold, are more dangerous than ordinary molds because their spores contain poisonous mycotoxins. In concentrated amounts, mycotoxins can cause skin blistering, nosebleeds, asthma symptoms, or chest pains, among other things. In extreme situations, they can even cause shock and death. Unfortunately, there is no cure for a mold allergy, but there are ways to reduce the symptoms. While a chan...

Ichiban Sushi has relocated to 4928 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606, in the Magnolia Park shopping center. The new location is more spacious and features an updated decor with cozy and private booths, dim mood lighting, saltwater aquarium, focal-point bar and attractive new menus. We recently tried the new location for the first time and were pleased with the atmosphere and friendly service. I prefer booths to open concept seating and I was very happy to see they invested in a lot of booth seating. There are chairs for people who are uncomfortable in booths and these may be removed for table to be accessible to wheelchairs. I've been a patron at Ichiban for about 20 years and while I love their sushi, I was not a fan of the atmosphere and decor at the previous location. I've been pla...

Whether you're an avid cyclist or a casual cruiser, the Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail is not to be missed. You may park at the trailhead in Gainesville or Hawthorne (or a few places in between) and enjoy 16+ miles of cycling along a well maintained paved trail. You will often encounter a variety of wildlife while cycling past cypress swamps, hammocks, pine forest and even a segment on the prairie. We have seen turtles, gopher tortoises, rough green snakes, brown snakes, anhinga, Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Heron (and many other birds!), otter, alligators and water moccasins along the trail. I've found that an approximate 30 miles round trip on the trail will take around 2 hours and 40 minutes at a moderate to medium pace, including a few short breaks for water or a piece of fruit....
