There were 4 Real Estate sales in Islamorada, the fabulous Florida Keys May 15-May 22, 2011. The highest selling price was a bay front short sale sale at 88170 Overseas Hwy. The price was $1,100,000.  The lowest price sale was 234 Jasmine St in Plantation Key Colony. The price was $300,000. Islamorada Real Estate Sales for the week of May 8th - 14, 2011 in the Florida Keys. There were 6 Real Estate Sales in Islamorada during the week of May 8-14, 2011.    The highest priced sale was for 76 Plaza Granada in Lower Matecumbe. The sales price was $850,000.    The lowest price sale was $140,000 for a third floor unit in Sea Gulls.    The average closed price was in the mid $200,000's, indicating that prices are starting to inch up in the mid $200 range. This weekend is the first time ever Islamorada Fishing Film Festival to be held at Founder's Park, bay side at Mile Marker 87, Islamorada, Florida in the Keys. The event will feature movies about the quest for Tarpon, Redfish, sailfish, permit and musky. Organizers hope the film festival will morph into a lasting cultural event. It is also a celebration of town, which bills itself as the Sports fishing Capitol of the World. Admission is $15. at the door or $12.00 in advance. It wasn't that long ago I was typing my fingers off trying to be number 1 in my community. I saw that 194xxx the other day and it occurred to me that I am approaching 200,000 points. Only 5,000 more to go! What REALLY makes me happy is knowing that all the hard work also pays off in the form of lowering my RainMaker charges. I think that is one of the greatest carrots that can be offered. Yes, I want to be number 1 in my County, but that is going to be a really hard head to head struggle. That doesn't mean I won't keep trying. The Rainmaker price reduction is a great way for AR to say "Great Job" "You deserve the recognition".
