Keep in mind, I am just a student, but I think it is the right thing to do, passing on what I learned.   Try to find groups of odd number items. Do NOT center the shot, have the focal point off center Do not perfectly split the horizon and the sky. Have more of one or the other.1/3 2/3 is a good balance. I am week 3 of my photography class. Here are this weeks tips. Always keep your camera in a camera bag. (It is padded and protects it) Always keep a spare memory card in your bag. Always keep a spare set of batteries in your bag.   About your memory card. Do NOT delete photos from the camera. Upload your photos to your computer, then reinstall the card in the camera. Use the camera "format" function to reformat the card. This completely cleans the card and keeps you from every having bits of old photos on the card.   Never adjust the original photo. Always "save as" leaving the original intact. Happy shooting!   01/28/2011

I was out showing property last night and rode by San Pedro Catholic Church. Vendors were feverously preparing for todays Art Under the Oaks Art show. This is probably the best art show in the Upper Keys. I have purchased some great stuff there in the past including an old window frame with a water / beach scene painted on it. It hangs in my office as my "water view". I have also purchased some great place matts with sea shells on them, a Tee and Blouse set with flowers on it and "Keyie" switch plate covers. I have one in my office and another in the guest room at home. If you are in the Keys today, or can get here, I high recommend parking at Coral Shores High School and taking the shuttle to the Show.
