  Seasonal visitors have not yet provided boost to the local real estate market   We told you this season was going to be big. Really big. If you have tried to find parking at the beach, a table at your favorite restaurant or anything at Jupiter’s new Harborside Place you know exactly what I mean. Things are booming and as a good friend said the other day If you are in the restaurant business and aren’t raking in the dough this week then something is wrong.     The season is here and it is big. Really big. Just like we said it would be. We have been told of waiting lines in excess of 2 1/2 hours at some of our favorite restaurants. So just what is wrong with the real estate market?       The number of homes sold in Jupiter in November, 2014 decreased by 22 percent compared with October sales and prices declined about seven percent for the same period. In November 2014 the median price of a home in Jupiter was $289,900, down from $323,700 in October.       Year over year, comparing November 2014 with November 2013, home prices increased about eight percent while sales remained fairly constant.        Inventory of homes in Jupiter has also remained constant between November and October, but has declined more than 17 percent from a year ago.       Jupiter is an attractive community for families, young singles, empty nesters and retirees with wonderful educational facilities, employment opportunities, recreational venues, shopping and restaurants.  Most public schools... 12/31/2014
