Buyers in Palm Beach Co. look to Winston Realty, Inc. for Hot Affordable Properties Buyer’s today's hot market is causing multiple offer situations on hot areas or competitively priced listings that create bidding wars and make it increasingly difficult to purchase certain newly listed homes. However, sometimes the banks and other sellers price listings slightly above the market creating the exact opposite effect of having no activity, these are listings you can often get substantial discounts off the asking price because of the lack of competitive buyers. You are most likely to get a great deal if you present a fair offer. Please call or email for a list of these types of properties that have high days on market, we will help you submit an offer and hopefully get these bought on your h...

Just Sold Lake Worth, Florida Bank ForeclosureJust sold this large Lake Worth Florida Home in Countryside Estates, a small gated community in West Lake Worth.  The Home was a bank foreclosure and needed a lot of work.  It was listed through HubZu online auction platform, and was a challenge to get under contract, it took five winning bids.  Unfortunately the challenges did end there, as the previous owner made sure that it could not be financed by destroying the hard wood floors and taking the pool equipment, electrical breakers and hot water heater.  The deal had to be converted to a cash transaction.  At the end of the day I was able to work through the issues and eventually get the Home for my customer at an even lower price then what we had it under contract for.  Very rare in my ma...

What Really Makes The Perfect Property Listing in 2015??  We've already told you that first impressions are everything when it comes to listings. Keep your place neutral (put those family photos away!) so that it will appeal to everyone who walks through, yada, yada, yada. But even that isn't always enough. So what makes for the perfect listing? You'll never guess what house hunters are looking for the most. Homeowners and Realtors spend a lot of time beautifying the inside of their homes: the sleekly designed living room awash in natural light from tall windows, a gleaming granite countertop in the kitchen, the perfect luxurious master suite. But the majority of people perusing online listings aren't staring at photos of all these gorgeous features (though they are beautiful, we're sur...

Homeowners: Do You Really Need To Use A Contractor For Renovations Still in 2015?     Now that you have decided to move forward to buy and renovate, you must first decide how much work you will do yourself. If you do decide on choosing a contractor, you will certainly avoid the many hassles of managing the work and hiring subs for the actual work proposed. Also if you do not have the time to manage your project(s) hiring a general contractor will probably save you both heartache and cash in the long haul.    However, if you do have the time and fortitude to take on negotiator, project manager, and or coordinator you may just be able to increase your financial reward. The bottom line with this decision is to be honest with yourself and the commitment needed to complete your project.   He...
