The following are the market sales statistics for Maitland, Seminole and Orange Counties, Florida for October 2008.  Maitland is made up of the zip code 32751.  For purposes of this analysis we will be splitting the data according to single-family homes vs, condominiums, townhomes and villas. A couple of definitions are in order. The median sales price means that 50% of the homes sold for more and 50% of the homes sold for less during a certain period of time - in other words, it's the midpoint of sale prices. Well, I felt like a goober today when I boasted to my broker that my website ranking was "up there," then he typed in some stuff on the computer and my website was nowhere to be found on the first, second, or third page.  Open mouth, insert foot, slink away quietly, so as not to attract any attention... So, imagine my surprise this evening when I typed in a few keywords, scrolled down a little bit on the page, and BAM!, there is my website at NUMBER 9 on the FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE!  Number 9 isn't very high up in terms of websites but I was happy, all the same, especially since it was out of 123,000 sites.  Plus, I don't pay anyone for website optimization or rankings.  Other than a few blogs, I can't think of anything that I really do that would get it up to the first page of Google.  At...

I had a busy day today, so called in an order at my favorite sub shop by my office (hint:  It's got a big Fire truck out front--woo hoo!) because they have yummy food and I was in a hurry.  I ordered my usual sub and went to pick it up about 10 minutes later.  When I got there, there was a sign saying there would be NO TOMATOES on any sandwiches for awhile, due to the CDC.  What?!  I had to ask the guy if it was a joke but no, there was not even ONE tomato on my sub.  But, I'm nosy, uh, I mean-curious, so I googled "bad tomatoes disease food" and caught up on the whole drama of the bad tomato.  Boy, where have I been?!  I love tomatoes.  However--Apparently, there have been a few illnesses in 9 states thus far and no deaths yet but the illnesses were caused by big, raw tomatoes carrying...

Be sure to get information about home mortgages from several lenders or brokers. Know how much of a down payment you can afford, and find out all the costs involved in the loan. Knowing just the amount of the monthly payment or the interest rate is not enough. Ask for information about the same loan amount, loan term, and type of loan so that you can compare the information.
