My buyers were golden.. The appraisal  came in over 10K more than the selling price.  Everything  looked great!  Waiting on underwriters to approve the loan.  It was approved...YEAH!...... then they rescinded the loan!  FHA underwriters  came back with  a glitch.. the 2004 Mobile Home had been previously moved.  Another lesson.. ~ Don't Count your chickens...  My customers ended up loosing almost $2000.00 for appraisal fees, surveys..ect.  (Make sure the mobile home being financed through FHA has never been moved.)  It will kill FHA financing.  Oh, and by the way, the loan was being processed through TAYLOR BEAN & WHITTIKER. a month or so later a friend sent me this.. For ALL who Have TAYLOR BEAN & WHITTIKER Mortgages this just came out!! I AM a TB&W coustomer & I have NOT been notifi...

This is my second blog and I have much more to learn I can read and understand the reason for this site and that's to help and learn from each other. I thought I would let readers know about the NW Florida are and how we are Coming Back Strong. There are two major developments taking place in the NW Florida area. One of which is the International Airport in Panama City, FL. and the other is Country Crossings in Dothan, Alabama. Some of you may be familiar with Country Crossings but for those who aren't let me enlighten you. Jackson County (Marianna - county seat) Florida is a great place to live.  I've lived here from the age of 5 when my family relocated from San Antonio, Texas.  My husband and I have raised 4 children here and sent them all off to big cities of their own, but they all remark on trips home how peaceful and laid back our lovely area is .  As a former classroom teacher I've taken many field trips to The Florida Caverns.  The caves and state park surrounding them can't be matched for natural beauty anywhere around here.  We are just an hour away from the malls in Tallahassee, Panama City, and Dothan (Alabama) if serious shopping is your thing.  The white, sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast are about the same distance.  So, you see, if your love is nature, shopping, water sports, or just relaxin...

This  past Saturday night the Chipola College Indians clinched their 4th straight state basketball in 5 years.  I can remember being a student at what was then Chipola Junior College many years ago.  Basketball has always been king.  The Indians have had a long history of winning.  Coach Milton Johnson was in charge when I was a student and attending games in the old field house.  There is a new gym now (named in honor of Coach Johnson) and a new coach, but the tradition of winning at Chipola is still the same.  Congratulations, Indians!
