I have a few friends who are vegetarians or vegans. They refuse to eat meat of any kind. I applaud them. Although I do not eat red meat or poultry, I do eat some (non-farm raised) fish. The Burger Place works for me because they have one of the best Veggie Burgers I have ever had!The Burger Place is located in Historic Downtown Melbourne, FL. Since Melbourne, FL is a beachside town, visitors expect us to have great seafood. Although we have quite a few places that serve some pretty tasty seafood dishes, they are mostly larger restaurants that are designed to serve hundreds of tourists and locals.Seafood Station in Melbourne, FL is exactly the opposite! This place is a small,  with a seafood counter and some frig and freezer cabinets. What they do offer is a varied menu that will really appeal to the seafood lover in you!  Crush Eleven, one of the most popular restaurants in Cocoa Village is moving to Historic Downtown Melbourne in the next couple of months. Crush Eleven is an upscale casual restaurant that includes a bar. The likely reason for the move to Melbourne is the more upscale feel to Historic downtown Melbourne, as well as the expansion of the bar area (from about 5 or 6 stools to around 25). Crush Eleven has a very distinct menu that offers dinner, Sunday brunch and an extensive wine list.The Melbourne location will be in the Flatiron Building at 927 E. Today is the day I move into my new Downtown Melbourne, FL office. I love the wonderful central location. It is close to everything. As I was searching I determined that I needed to have certain requirements for the office. 1. Stay off the beachside (too far from many parts of the area). 2. I wanted to be in a "destination area"  A place potential buyers and sellers would go all year long. Downtown has many festivals, restaurants and shops.3. PC Keats is one of our newer restaurants in Historic Downtown Melbourne, FL. The restaurant includes a beautiful outdoor patio that faces the bustling downtown streets, a large bar area and plenty of indoor tables and seating. PC Keats opens seven days at 11am to 10pm, and Friday and Saturday night they open until 2am.They offer lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, catering, cocktails, a full bar and lots of large screen TV's throughout (to watch during a big game)!First impression is that PC Keats is trying to be everything to everyone.  OK...so I must admit up front...I really like the Mansion in Melbourne, FL. They are a little bit different ...and they know it!This place sort of seems like a bunch of bars, restaurants, deli, and wine store all wrapped together...and it works! The Mansion offers two distinct bars, one on the first floor is sort of a quiet pub that is a good place to meet a client or just chat. The upstairs bar is a great place to view the river, meet on a first date or just hang out with friends after work.
