Pedestrian Tales From the Middle of the Road, #23 ...and another one.  It's been a few weeks, so I figure Brevard County Sheriff Jack Parker is feeling a bit unlucky that this one happened on his watch. In what I can view as the only positive here, the Florida Highway Patrol has gotten a bit bolder and more explicit in detailing these pedestrian deaths caused by the pedestrians themselves. Let's crack down on motorists who fail to yield the right-of-way when required to do so, but it's well past time we did more towards enforcing pedestrian traffic laws.  It's a needed change- as there are apparently far too many folks who can't police themselves and follow the rules of the road while they walk.   No excuses, Central Florida:  How many deaths will be too many? Things seem to be all out of order to me. Not that today's way is bad, just not what I grew up knowing what was the order of events. Young people single and are buying homes together.
