Tucked just off of Lincoln road on Michigan Avenue is a white and airy space with the dessert counter being the main focal point.  When I first walked into Ice Box Café I was immediately drawn to their claim to fame…a case of cakes, ice cream cakes, brownies, cookies and specialty dessert bars. If you can get past the dessert case you can choose to sit either inside or outdoors, or even grab a slice of dessert to go, I decided to dine outside for a little people watching. I promised myself I would eat food before dessert and was pleased with the variety of the menu. For starters I had serrano ham flat bread, which was a good size for a few people to share. Lenny Kravitz is spreading his reputation as a designer in South Florida.  In May Kravitz was tapped to revamp Paramount Bay and now SLS Hotel South Beach is asking the rocker for his decor expertise.  Lenny's Kravitz Design Inc. has been asked to design several suites at the SLS Hotel South Beach.  Kravitz will work on an exclusive bungalow and penthouse suite.  The rest of the hotel will be designed by Philippe Starck who often works with SLS Hotels and is looking forward to working with his friend Lenny Kravitz.
