The sky is certainly not falling but our iguanas are falling! Maybe not out of the sky but from their purches in the trees.It is rare that we here in South Florida see temps dip into the low 40's but when they do our poor little (or not so little) reptile amigos can't handle it. Their systems just shut down and they pass out. It's like a chameleon coma!I walked around my property and collected a bunch of them and set them in the sun to warm their bodies. Once their internal temps rise they start to wake up. It is fun to watch as they appear in a drunken state at first then they give you a look of thanks and scurry off to the trees.
