Here in Lake County Florida we did experience a modest gain in home prices especially in the more affordable segments. What's also interesting to note is that an increasing number of purchasers are deciding to act now even though they may not actually relocate for two or three years. Additionally, the interest in move-up and luxury homes has ticked up slightly according to several brokers and agents in our local market. An estimated 250,000 attended this years Mount Dora Craft Fair.  I spoke to several vendors on Sunday that told me they sales were brisk on Saturday. From my viewpoint the fair was a success for a number of important reasons.  We noticed that the parking fees were lower than previous years and many of the vendors seemed to have made adjustments in their pricing. The event was well marketed through multiple media outlets. Mother nature cooperated with sunny weather too. OVER 4 MILLION CLOSED AND ANOTHER 5.1 MILLION UNDER CONTRACT DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE AT COLDWELL BANKER CAMELOT REALTY.
