Looking for some great ice-cream on one of our usual hot summer days? Driving up East Lake Road in North Pinellas County? Getting near the intersection of East Lake and Ridgemoor??? Look toward the Publix shopping center --- on the opposite end of the strip mall from Publix (my favorite grocery store) is Working Cow Ice Cream!!! There is always plenty of parking and what could possibly be better on a hot summer day than some refreshing HOMEMADE ice-cream!!!! When I am out with Bill I get him to stop by reminding him that they make the BEST strawberry shakes! That is his weakness!!! I like to experiment - maple walnut, black walnut, pistachio. . . even ocassionally black cherry. . . they are all on the top of my list.....which means I have to visit more often!!! Ridgemoor Commons shops are located on Ridgemoor Blvd at East Lake Road in north Pinellas County. This little strip mall has some wonderful shops and (in my opinion) one of the best pediatric offices in the area!!!! Cork and Olive is a great place to find that bottle of wine you have been searching for!!!! If you haven't been there, you need to check it out! Kumon learning center is also located there, as is my granddaughter's pediatrician, Dr. Black. She is really fantastic with the little ones!!!!!!!!!! Having all of these conveniences right at your door-step makes living in the East Lake area really wonderful!!! If you are not familiar with the area, you really should check it out! If you dislike gushy, touchy-feely, inspirational talk, you’ll HATE this post.  If you want to hear about a typical day of a Palm Harbor real estate agent then you’ll REALLY HATE this post.  Will you read it anyway?  I’ll confess, being a Palm Harbor real estate agent in this market is sometimes hard.  We’re blessed to be helping some folks facing Dunedin and Palm Harbor foreclosures, via Short Sales, and some of them amidst this turmoil in their lives can be a bit heavy to deal with.  And they may get sick of my “positive speak” about believing, visualizing and going after their dreams, but hey guys and gals - I can’t stop.  I’ve been a train wreck more than once, and thanks to a culmination of things, including vision and faith, that’s ancient history now.  Now it’s all about helping ... 08/21/2008
