I think this may be the new trend thanks to the real estate tax reform. So many millionaires use Florida as their primary residences because of our no income tax status plus FL is awesome. That may change as the limits on real estate tax reform takes hold in 2018.Could it be a slap in the face to her brother or just ditching her oceanfront mansion before everyone else starts? A question we will have answered no doubt soon. Maryanne Trump Barry the older sister of Donald has listed her Palm Beach estate which is located across the street from Mar-lago for $23.9M.The very dated home sits on 200 feet of oceanfront. Most would think "teardown" and that will probably be the case here. Stay tuned....

How Easy Is It To Get Out Of A Contract.......Super Easy????I had a recent deal that a buyer wanted to get out of a contract, which I thought for sure the buyer would lose her $5,000 deposit. It was not so in this case. The property being a foreclosure and you know how their contracts are, right?  They give no rights to the purchaser. Well the buyer held firm, her deposit was refunded and the property was sold to another buyer. I think this happens often, but there is Murphy’s law too to be aware of.

Will Rapid Home Price Gains Slow Soon?       Home prices have been seeing rapid gains in recent months, but don't expect that to continue. While double digit gains have been common, home appreciation is projected to drop to 6.5% during the 12 months ending March 31, 2014, according to a report released Thursday. That will follow a 10.2% jump for the preceding 12 months, the first double-digit increase since the peak of the housing boom seven years ago. The forecast is based on the CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price indexes and covers 384 metro areas and more than 80% of the total U.S. housing market.     Click Here for more
