There is no way to guarantee a "smooth" path from an approved contract to the settlement table, but doing your part is at least half the job. Expect minor problems and delays along the way. On the seller's side, title problems are a common cause of postponed settlements. On your side, bureaucratic snags such as extensive credit checks and slow appraisals can bog things down. The Neighborhood Yard sale time is nearing please contact us for free booths, tables and signage. This springs theme will be "Back to the Good Ole Days". The Antique Car Show will be from 10 to 2, there will be BBQ plates and a Fish Fry raising funds for their church. The Fish Fry will be at Lunch and Dinner while the BBQ will be only at lunch. Look no further, you be the judge. About four months ago I got a call from a guy that said, I want the worst 5 acres that you can find. Say what!! We looked at a lot of property, he didn't care were it was or what it looked like. He shared with me that he could make upwards of a $100,000 an acre and was offering $500 to $2000 an acre. He bought a 2 acre lot, 2 five acre lots and a 7 acre lot of some of the worst property for building on imaginable. One was even what I would call a swamp. He is doing this all over Northwest Florida and South Alabama. We are opening an office in Fort Walton Beach, not on the beach but close by. Me and my partner can not decide what we want it to look like. So I suggested we ask you. Any Ideas. The short answer is maybe...   Some ways to tell.   If you apply for a loan and the interest rates puts the payments above what a similar home is on a rent to own home, then a rent to own home is for you. If you have credit issues that would prevent you from getting a loan then a rent to own could be for you.    Things to make sure you do.
