Look no further, you be the judge. About four months ago I got a call from a guy that said, I want the worst 5 acres that you can find. Say what!! We looked at a lot of property, he didn't care were it was or what it looked like. He shared with me that he could make upwards of a $100,000 an acre and was offering $500 to $2000 an acre. He bought a 2 acre lot, 2 five acre lots and a 7 acre lot of some of the worst property for building on imaginable. One was even what I would call a swamp. The short answer is maybe...   Some ways to tell.   If you apply for a loan and the interest rates puts the payments above what a similar home is on a rent to own home, then a rent to own home is for you.
