  Aspargus-Artichoke Dip Drain and chop (2) 14 oz cans of Asparagus Drain and chop (2) 14 oz. cans of Artichoke Hearts 1 Cup Mayo 1 Cup Parmesean Cheese 1 Cup Parmesean Romano, Asiago Cheese grated. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl until well blended.  Pour into a small baking dish and top with Parmesean, Romano, Asiago Cheese.  Place into oven and bake until cheese is golden brown.   Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.  Serve while hot. As a Native Floridian and a Lighthouse enthusiast I have visited the lighthouses of Florida on the East Coast.  The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is Florida's tallest lighthouse completed in 1887 the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is one of Florida's best preserved lighthouses.  It is located 10 miles south of Daytona Beach and is open to the public year round.  In 1998, this lighthouse was designated a National Historic Landmark.  Visitors can climb 203 steps to the top of this 175 foot tower.  Ponce Inlet Lighthouse is the tallest and the second tallest masonry lighthouse in the nation.  The lighthouse keeper's dwellings are now a museum which features one of the finest collections of Fresnel lenses in the world, including the rotating first order Fresnel lens from the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse.    ... 09/05/2009

     Lately I have been reading articles and watching news reports mentioning the increase in home sales in the Tampa Bay Area.  I am transitioning my career and I have been spending a lot less time around the mortgage office and even less time chasing down leads for them.  I do touch base via e-mail and I hear that things are picking up.  I took Toto (my dog) on a long walk last night since he was cooped up all day in the house.  While walking around the neighborhood I noticed something.   There are fewer "for sale" signs around than there were before.  I also noticed that homes which were for sale and vacant are now off the market and show signs of life.       I mention this because I live in an extremely high forclosure area.  I believe the highest in my state.  I might be wrong on ... 05/19/2009

Port Richey is a dual community with New  Port Richey. Both are a popular retirement community and have all kinds of recreational activities for every age. Those activities include swimming in the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, boating, canoeing, sailing and fishing. Many golf courses are available in the surrounding area. It is almost 3 sq. miles and has a population just over 3000. It has several parks that offer boat ramps to access the Gulf of Mexico. On Sept. 13, the Humane Society of the Nature Coast is having the fifth annual Fur Ball. The Fur Ball is a night of cocktails, food, pets and entertainment. The event will start at 5:00 PM with cocktails being served until 6:30 PM. At 6:30, the guests will be seated for dinner. The event will also have a silent auction. The silent auction has a wide range of items that have been donated for the Ball. A few of the items for the auction are vacation packages, tool baskets, art, spa treatments, pet items and many more items. The event is being held at the Palace Grand on US Hwy 19.
