On the Border Royal Palm Beach FL GRAND OPENING!!! Today was the Grand Opening for On the Border in Royal Palm Beach FL. On the Border was one of my families favorite restaurants when we lived in Naperville IL and when we saw the "Coming Soon" sign a few years back we were very excited. However it's been a long road to get to this point. I don't know when On the Border in Royal Palm Beach was originally suppose to open, but by the time I inquired in March of 2009 it was scheduled to open in July of that year. July came and went with no grand opening. So I inquired again and was told November would be the new opening date, but that too came and went.
