Today my beautiful lady and I needed to catch up on life and housework and such. So we started our day by cleaning our adopted street, Volucia Dr in Torino for 3 miles and 2 bags of trash later.  This is our way of GIVING WHERE WE LIVE, which is what we do at Keller Williams Realty. Then we went to our favorite breakfast place, Berry Fresh Café. Then we went to our new favorite Theatre, Carmikes to check out the BRAND NEW Iron Man III. Then there was the yard cutting, and other household chores followed up by last but not least playing in the rain with you folks. Not a bad day and rather good exercise and relation. Today I had the pleasure of listening to the man himself Gary Keller in Orlando tell a group of about 500 agents that in order to succeed, you must focus on your ONE THING and he went on to say that in Chapter 5 of his new book, The One Thing dispels the myth of multitasking.  First he began that this is not even a real word.  Next he presented tons of scientific evidence to prove his theories.  And he presented a few simple mental tests to try with a partner timing you so you can see for yourself how you will slow down when trying to multitask. However, in listening to him and reading the book I already own, I came up with a simple, everyday test that proves so accurately just how multitasking can throw off your task. Thank you friends for all your kind words over the last 24 hours. Last night while driving from Port St Lucie to follow the Air Ambulance to with my friend Barbara Johnson onboard, I let everyone know some of what was happening in this post: Keller Williams Realty of Port St Lucie is asking for your prayers tonight! 34986. As of today, I can state she has beaten the odds given last night that said her critical condition had a 95% mortality rate and she has survived the first of what is expected to be at least 2 surgeries to repair an Aortic Aneurysm. Today about 2:30 PM our family member Barbara Johnson suffered an aneurysm and it has severely damaged her Aorta to the point of needing emergency surgery. However, she was rushed to Lawnwood Trauma Center where they worked for the next 10 hours to stabilize her but then decided this procedure was extremely risky so they air evac'd her to Shands Hospital in Gainesville at 11:15 PM tonight. As soon as the chopper left, myself as a friend and member of the Agent Leadership Council and our Broker Gail Hovey started driving the 5 hours to Gainesville to be there when Barbara awakens from Surgery as she has no family other than Keller Williams.
